Just finished – Home Brain Health Station with OpenClaw, PiEEG, and RaspberryPi
ChatBot analyzes data from the brain and provides feedback!
I’ve been experimenting with a personal brain-feedback setup built around:
• Raspberry Pi 5 (16GB RAM, 128GB SSD)
• PiEEG for real-time EEG data acquisition
• Built-in screen + power bank for fully autonomous operation
⚙️ How it works
On the Raspberry Pi, a Python script:
1. Receives raw EEG data from PiEEG
2. Performs signal processing
3. Calculates alpha-band power
4. Converts the processed data into power in alpha-structured arrays
This processed data is then sent to OpenClaw, powered by an OpenAI LLM model, which analyzes the result using a predefined prompt.
🎯 Goal
The idea is to explore whether:
• EEG-based alpha activity
• Combined with subjective feedback (how I feel)
• Can help an LLM provide more personalized recommendations.
I test it by:
• Reporting my emotional state
• Comparing it with EEG-derived signals
• Evaluating whether the bot’s recommendations align with my actual condition
🤔 Big Question
Can an LLM meaningfully interpret EEG-derived features and adjust feedback in a useful way?
It’s still experimental — but the direction is fascinating.
